I don't have a problem with UMass' decision.
While these so-called "students" appear to be terrorist aiders and abettors, the fact remains they are SUSPECTED of these crimes at this point. If they are convicted of these crimes, I'd prefer that they be lined up against a wall and shot like the treasonous ****sticks that they are, but that will come later -- maybe.
Law enforcement can subpoena these records, and will no doubt do so. That's the important part.
The public does not have a RIGHT to this information at this stage. These punks are suspected of crimes, but they're not yet convicted of them.
They do have a right to privacy and it's wise for UMass to recognize that.
