The importance of this movie cannot be overstated. Blacks may make-up only 13% of the population but if they can undergo a sea change to move themselves off of government dependency then the entirety of the US political system will be changed for the better. This film can help light that fire.

And if successful America may find itself within a generation or two of being in the unique and beautifully ironic position of having rediscovered its freedoms through the descendants of slaves.

I saw this a month ago and shared it with everyone on Facebook.  This man is brilliant and I am so very glad he is releasing a movie.  It's highly unlikely people will listen to his message though.

Not sure about where this is going , but, were it not for the white people that formed the under ground safe houses, the white ships captains that took their life in their own hands to stow away the slaves and bring them to a safe State, where would these poor people have ended up.??

Having been in and around the military all of my life, most of the blacks I've encountered have basically that same viewpoint.  They're sailors, soldiers, Marines, airmen; NOT victims.
