DUmmies, here's how Charlottesville just lost you 2018 and 2020

     1. Event happens in Charlottesville in which .0000001% of "Republicans" wave stupid fascist flags around and in which ONE GUY murders someone.

     2. Dems completely lose shit for weeks, with Dem "leaders" and news gadflys assuring each other that Charlottesville was representative of ALL Republicans.

     3. Dems nominate and primary lunatic assfaces like De Blasio and Kamala whatever on one basis: will they speak "truth to power" and otherwise pin every grievance on ALL Republicans

     4. DUmmies eat it alive in yet another example of the Streisand Effect

     5. DUmmies get irrationally exuberant of their chances, and probably start dreaming of freeing Mumia

     6. Normal Americans who might even vote Dem are aghast at the lineup of Lisa Durdens who propose to govern them

     7. On election day they hold their noses and vote for McConnell, Ryan, and Trump again, reasoning that at least we have the courts

     8. You stupid ****s lose again, and we get treated to another 11/9

     9. Lather

     10. Rinse
 
     11. Repeat.

Pragmatically, holding my nose to vote for Democrats in Republican Threads (or "D.I.R.T.") is a bigger problem than the democrats imploding, but my new signature trumps all, pun intended.

The DUmmies have already heavily lessened the Dems' chances in the next several elections:
As their threads after last year's elections proved, they didn't learn a thing from their loss. They didn't realize that a major factor contributing to their loss was that Hillary's language and their parroting it exposed them, and the Democrats as a whole, as the mean, smug, condescending elitist pricks that they are who look down their noses and spit on (Not to mention sling baseless accusations of racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. at) anyone with differing views from them on any subject. Most average American citizens don't want to vote for someone who they know views them as brainless, racist hillbillies, so the election went to Trump. Afterwards, the DUmmies' response has been "No, it's not that we need to humble ourselves and reach out to those with differing views; It's that we really ARE so much better than all those brainless, inbred, Bible- thumping racist rednecks in Flyover country and they're just jealous of us, and we should double down on that and on making sure everyone knows we know we're so much better than them! That'll help us win in the future!"
Though, of course, I'll bet everything will happen the way you predict, that'll further slide things in our direction.

It's not gaining traction because of the somewhat illogical 'mole' atmosphere surrounding the report. 

It's too soon for the guy to switch extreme sides.  If Occupy happened 20-years ago it might be a little more believable.
