I'm still pissed that Texas didn't get one of the shuttles despite being directly connected to the shuttle program, but New York got one.

I agree.  Houston got shafted big time on this deal.  They are getting the mock-up named Explorer that was at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor's Center while a real shuttle is going to NY.  I can't help but think politics were involved in this decision.
