I hope that everyone realizes the Franken story was a Russian intel op.
The Al Franken story was first championed by Fox News & InfoWars, was pushed heavily by Russian bots on social media ... and Roger Stone knew about it in advance.
Meaning Russian intelligence was behind it.
No matter what you think about Franken or sexual harassment in general, remember:
This Was A Russian Intel Operation.
Little different from launching a Spetsnaz incursion into Maine.

What does the left do? In his defense, throw up naked pictures to try and shame her. It was stupid. No different from, what was she wearing and too many on the left jumped in both feet.
Franken had it handled. That left, did not help him or us.

The time is now. CNN doesn't have an investigative arm anymore. TPM, Propublica, and Mother Jones can only do so much. If you have facts calling the Franken scandal into question - post them here, and we'll get them out to Tapper and the like.

24. Here's something to think about
We saw the picture. It was staged to make it look like Franken was groping, but he was NOT touching her. But that pic was used alongside her story about Franken forcibly kissing her. Franken says he doesn't remember it like that, but he'll give her the benefit of the doubt and apologize. Nothing here adds up. It's obvious they are trying to make a nothingburger into a Royal with cheese.
Tweeden has backed down. I think she may be getting afraid of what will happen to her if she continues to push this. On the other hand, the people who set her up are willing to throw her under the bus if it means making Franken look bad. If they keep pushing, I think Tweeden will have to recant. Already we have the pics of her grabbing the guitarist and humping Robin Williams. She may just have to (I hope she has to) backtrack and out those who set her up. Even if it's just Hannity, at least that asshole will be taken down a notch, and maybe Faux Nooze will lose some credibility with the nut jobs.
Franken knew what would happen and openly called for an investigation into his behavior. Now the ball is in the wingers' court and Tweeden is about to be sacrificed. Wonder what will happen to that book deal when she outs the nasties.

It's enough for me to know she's a blatant, lying, trumpanzee POS, and that there's plenty of evidence backing that up. AND plenty of evidence showing Al is brilliant and has high scores for integrity. Pukes are afraid of him.

I like Al Franken, and do not want to go down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole. The photo looks like little more than a bad joke, I mean they guy wasn't chasing underage girls in a mall to the point he was thrown out. This is simply not at the same level. What is even more outrageous is all the evangelicals still backing the guy in Alabama. We shouldn't even be talking about this, we need to go after the complete hypocrisy of these guys. That is the rabbit that needs to be chased down.

you do realize there's quite a difference between forcibly kissing an adult woman (at worst) during a comedy skit and being banned from a Mall for chasing underage girls and putting your hands down their pants? At least I hope so.

According to your own dogma, it is still assault.
When a privileged white male makes a joke about the victimization of women, it is wrongiddy wrong. When the privileged, white male makes a joke like this from a position of power ( a wealthy comedian/actor/politician certainly qualifies) that privileged, white male needs to have all positions of power stripped from him.
