A crostata is an Italianate baked tart and a form of pie. It has been known by various names throughout Italy, including coppi in Naples and sfogliate in Lombardy. Historically, it also referred to an "open-faced sandwich or canapé" because of its crusted appearance, or also a chewet, a type of meat pie.
NJCher (17,241 posts) Tue Nov 4, 2014, 06:00 PM7. I saw that show!I like watching Lidia. RG works with her company (and thus her son), though, and says they are, ummm, shall we say, very conservative financially. I want to go to Eataly in NYC. Can you believe I've never seen the place? Veal stew with mushrooms. Brussels sprouts. Dessert might be more tres leche poundcake.

I don't see humble pie anywhere in that thread.
But this thread's from last evening, before the good guys won.Nobody's started a "what's for supper thread" for today yet.
I hope she didn't forget the dope too.
Come to think of it, when looking at the "little" forums, instead of the cooking and baking forum, I should've checked out the mental health forum, to see how the crazies are handling the election returns.

You are right. I misread the OP timestamp as 11:07PM. I have renewed hope to see humble pie on tonight's "what's for supper thread", then.
if Mr. fizz is lucky.
