Given that many/most cellphones, many/most motherboards (desktop, laptop, server) almost all computer power supplies and adapters ... are built in China, this is BS (putting it, ummmmmm, nicely).

My guess, if this :bouncy: is not 100% fiction, is that Pam's hubby was on China-based Alibaba rather than Amazon, and they aren't currently selling and shipping to the US, or at least not that particular type of item. But fiction is more likely.
