His EO on federal funding for abortion is as telling as it is infuriating. He did it on a Friday afternoon to keep it out of the ews cycle. In other words: he knows it is politically poisonous.

But he can't keep this sort of crap out of the news cycle for 2 whole years; even with an (un)Fairness Doctrine.

If there is one universal experience in American politics over the past half-century it is simply.....When Democrats are in power they overreach, and piss off the voters.......their egos will not allow them to do otherwise.  We saw it with LBJ, Carter, and Clinton......they always do it.

Reciprocally, unfortunately for us, when Republicans are in power, they forget how shabbily they were treated by the Dems, and attempt to "compromise" with them.........

Take heart, the boy-king is off to a great start toward handing the congress back to us in less than two years.....if we get our act together.....

My friends NEVER underestimate the ability of the Democrats to misinterpret a couple of percentage point shift in the electorate.  They think they were handed a mandate.

They will go too far and pay for it.

I don't think that its the Clinton's that he has to worry about, with Hillary in the SoS job, this is their final act on the political stage.......they are done.

He has to worry about his old gang in Chicago......and I think that stuff is going to continue to come out.......the "behind the scenes players" have the long knives out for him, just like they did for BJ........it started with Clinton before he took the oath, and it also started with the messiah before he took the oath......its going to be fun to watch.....

MID TERMS. We have to focus on them now.
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

You're right, also even with the advocacy/adversary media holding him up with their distortions and refusing to report news, objectively or otherwise.

Right about both the Democrats and Republicans.

Makes you wonder about the latter: Will they ever understand their adversary, that they're always going to be in a streetfight with them? Don't they understand that it may take them grabbing the Democrats in their political groins and then twisting and pulling until they stop their madness?

That said, you're also right about POTUSBO's first 100 hours or so.

What strikes me about what he's doing is that it is such a blitzkreig that it appears that he and his coaliton of Democrats, liberals and leftists are simply trying to overwhelm news cycles and the Republicans and conservatives with so much to process.

It's a decent strategy.

But, like you, I think this'll backfire hugely, IF the Republicans, conservatives and others who oppose the Obamanation fiind what act it is they must get together and then do same

Just one more thought: Could it be that Obama and his coalition realize that what they are doing and will do, when and if the sun shines on it, will be so repulsive, that they know they're in power for only two solid years; and that Jan. 20, 2013, will be Obama's last day in office?

he has created an utterly unworkable, hopelessly top heavy organization.  everyone reports directly to him.  he has a czar for everything, including geographic regions, and they report directly to him.  his UN ambassador reports directly to him.  he has special advisers, counselors, and ad hoc consultants for just about everything.

he is going to have to have cabinet meetings in an auditorium.

the only thing this can result in is chaos and paralysis.  nothing works without him, and he is the least experienced member of his administration.  it's another great example of his narcissism*.

The folks from HOPE Arkansas are going to CHANGE the USA into a communist utopia.

It gives me HOPE too.  HOPE I can win the lotto and retire from federal service before he completely hoses it up and I have to sort out the consequences.

Actually it is transparently a very poor strategy.....and it places a spotlight on his lack of experience to hold the job.......a WISE president would, at the very least, wait until he could reliably find the executive bathroom before running before the press to issue a bunch of new "Executive Orders".

I have held a few fairly senior executive positions during my working life, and I certainly would never think of making any drastic changes prior to evaluating the situation very thoroughly.  When I was confident of the correct moves, without paralyzing the entire organization, I would slowly and carefully make changes.

The difference between leadership......and arrogance.......

With these EO's the Big Zero is signing you would at least think he knew what the frak they said. I don't remember any previous President ask someone in front of the Press just what was on his own EO's

No quibble about calling it "transparently a very poor strategy." For anyone but him, yes. ANYONE with any management experience would know that you don't rush into things as he has.

But, as you say, no experience equals what he's doing.

But you hit it, when you said "a WISE president . . . would wait . . ."

Wise America doesn't have with Obama.

I declared not long after McCain won New Hampster that I didn't want to vote for the old doddered because:

1) he was as liberal as Obama where it hurt the most (judges, immigration)
2) Obama would not move to lose a war already won without consequence
3) the rest of Obama's marxist schtick would be the death of liberalism and the leftists party

This past week's performance reinforces my prognostication.
