They just took down my Bellevue Ward I campaign tent!!!

OOPS.

It has been over 8 hours since I posted the incumbent (R) and the other (R) in Bellevue Ward I don't even have a web site. The Libertarian had a radio interview on KFAB. They carry Rush and Glenn Beck. Do you really think they will put ME on the air? Not until after the NE caucus when my secret issue goes public anyway.

I got TWO merchants yesterday that called ME and asked to put my flyers next to their cash registers. Word of mouth. I'm up to five. Even the R merchant (Erwin Jewelry store I buy at) doesn't have the incumbent (a friend of his) materials out. When I introduced myself last November as running for city council, he called the incumbent after I walked out the door to WARN him about Steve.

The L doesn't even have flyers out where he had his fund raiser. They took his $ though. I will have signs in merchant windows.

As the only D in a field of 4, I will advance and they hate it. Wonder why the R & L got in the race? Could it be even they don't like the incumbent? He did blow $30,000 tax payer dollars to get much less done. The local paper says so and it's on my web site: http://stevedawes2012.com/news.htm

Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

OK, nothing in your OP mentions a tent beyond the headline. Who moved it and why? Was this some sort of Occupy crap? In a city, you need permission for things like this. A City Council wanna-be should know that.

Two. I can't read the screen print of CC...nor can I enlarge it. For the DUers, at least include a link. We include links to your posts. Vague and fuzzy screen prints are no substitute for legible quotes.
---Maybe you can quote us, Socialist Steve Dawes? Like we do with you.

Just trying to help ya out.

PS, why were you posting on DU yesterday when you said you were going door to door?

We are soooo shaking in our boots with fear over your secret issue.  :whatever:

This reminds me of when the democrat party had a huge surprise for everyone, turned out they released a new logo.  :-)

Yes I am doomed.  Cavers have no mojo in Ward I!

I don't know enough about the people of Bellevue, to know if they want a raving lunatic moonbat on their city council or not. What I do know is watching a raving lunatic moonbat run for office is quite amusing. In fact I plan on photocopying a picture of my hand, and sending it to Stevie's snail mail address, and no my middle finger won't be sticking up, this will be a little reminder of the pictures of their hands they sent to the tsunami victims.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

I have a question:

Why are you obsessed over Steve Dawes? Didn't you already destroy one life already?

I hope you guys think carefully before you start attacking another human being.

This is not what being a true conservative is about. These stuff on the boards sounds like they  belong on Stormfront - perhaps you would be a better fit there? True conservatives don't go overboard on a minor political race.

Have a very nice day.

What is your handle at DU?

You don't have to pretend to be a conservative to post here, this isn't DU.

Anyone have a clue as to what he's blubbering about?

The post is a CC screencap - he is using it to 'flaunt our stupidity' or somesuch.

Anyway, Ive given OS's campaign some thought - and rolled briefly over Nebraska's 2nd congressional district demographics. The short version- The best OS can hope for is a solid 3rd place finish in the primary, mainly due to vote splitting. Then he can tell the story about how it was the closest a Dem has gotten in years, blah blah blah.

If he comes in 2nd and actually makes it onto the ballot, I figure he will lose the election on the order of about 8 to 1 against.

And one thing I have noticed about the DUmp - They don't like those who lose political runs. Other members who have run and lost have seen their DU popularity fall like a rock through wet toilet paper. Trends, arcs and dots indicate the same is likely for OS if he makes it to second place, whereas a 3rd place finish will be seen as a miracle in Nebraska, when he puts his numbers up against the competition, and points out how the difference between his results and the 1st place candidate was only a few percent.

Perhaps it would be nice to check the facts and truth.
You would find they disagree with that statement.

Hey, Grunt. If you want to see Storm Front in action, go to any Ron Paul forum.
When you accuse us of being racist you better be able to back it up with a quote from me or a link.

This is a smallish board, explore it and show us the error of our ways by linking to our own words.

frank, Steve is giving Conservative Cave a lot of free advertising, he has a screenshot of CC in his post, can you tell me has traffic increased? or decreased since he's been doing that? just wondering if his advertising our site is an asset? or liability?

It's hard to tell; there's been an upswing in traffic, a little higher than normal for this time of the year, the past couple of months.  Much of this new traffic has come from the Omaha-Council Bluffs metropolitan area, which of course includes Bellevue.  (There's a little under a million people, total, in this area.)

But whether that's friendly traffic (decent and civilized people) or hostile traffic (the primitives), one can't tell.

I consider the big guy advertising conservativecave an asset.

But like my good friend USA4ME, I sort of regret that the primitives found out that we exist.  When they weren't aware they had an audience, they acted naturally primitival, without inhibition.  But now that they know, the primitives are somewhat, uh, more guarded and reserved, which is too bad.

As mentioned many times, Margaret Mead had this problem too; people act naturally when they aren't aware someone's studying them, but once they become aware, they "adjust" their conduct away from being their natural selves.

But.....excresence happens; the primitives discovered us.

And so yeah, to make lemonade out of lemons, sure, it's good for the big guy to advertise us.
