There are a few server related issues, what took The Cave down was a problem involving SSL - Notice the 'Secure' thing in the address bar ? That means the site is being encrypted 'on the fly' between the server and your browser. That went haywire, so the encryption was always screwed up, so your browser got nothing. It was a PITA to track down and rectify, and I was also working on the site between my actual job, and making a new life for my kids, my GF, & I.

Tracking down a tiny, specific bug in a haystack of code...I know how that is all too well.

I haven't heard a single persona complain, we all know what you do for us and how busy you are... and we all appreciate it man. I only wish I knew more about code so I could have tried to help out, but I'm completely oblivious when it comes to any sort of coding.
Although I was starting to wonder if that was "it". hehe

I figured it had something to do with that. If I recall it said something about the owner. Those problems are a royal pain to figure out. Been there, done that, got the tee shirt. :banghead:

It was mentioned by several when we went over to CU that your job and life takes up your time, which is only natural, and that you'd get to things as you were able. I say that to point out you are appreciated. It's because you run a site we all enjoy that the impatience can creep in when we can't get here. Gator (not Flagator), the so called guardian of moral clarity, is the reason why I never joined CU back in the day. I would have called him an asshole if I had joined, cause that is exactly what he was, and gotten promptly banned. So there was no point in it.
