Robbed of my bouncy.
« on: October 24, 2008, 08:44:46 AM »
Went into "Big Lots" yesterday to buy some cheap work gloves for my son. There were 2 minority cashiers, 1 minority something-or-other, a bald head, long haired hippie manager(?) whispering about how bad things were and that thery hoped Obama won the election. In front of me at the checkout counter was the only other customer in the store, a black, maybe 50 year old fellow. When I walked up the manager nodded his head and shhhhhh'ed the black girl from talking but one didn't get the message and kept on praising Obama and how wonderful it was going to be when he became president.

I wasn't going to try to convert anyone. I just wanted to get the gloves and get out of the place. .... but I was thinking, "Boy! Could this ever be a bouncy.......if I was stupid enough to speak up."  TO LATE !!!!!!! I didn't even get a chance to finish thinking about it. The black guy went off on'em all, "You stupid damn nigga's blahblahblah".........the cashier took my $2.69 and I was out the door.

I would have stayed and helped the guy out but then I thought .... what the heck.... he's doing better without my help.....I'm white and not allowed to use that kind of language. :rotf:

You didn't start with "So" and there were no sheepish looks, so you lost some pointes there, but extra points for the hippie looking manager. :-)

Aw,  you should've helped out or at least cheered the guy on.  Secondary participants are another staple of a good bouncy story.

Seriously, Obama ain't doing no where near a 100% in the black community. I can't guess what the percentage is but it ain't no where near 100%...not even 90%..... not even.....heck, I just don't know.
