liberal N proud (59,033 posts)https://www.democraticunderground.com/100216112884Today's encounter with idiots.Standing in line at the pharmacy this morning.I was there to get my booster shot, he was just being an asshole.I am standing at the front of the line that I had just spent 20 minutes in when this idiot asks if this is the line for the pharmacy.Yes sir, it forms back there.He informs me that he is not waiting in any damn line.I looked at him and said, sir, the Peparation H is in the next isle over.He had guts enough to call me an asshole and when the next pharmacist wa available he just stepped right up.

Here's what I do when this sort of thing happens to me;I ask, in a voice loud enough to heard by EVERYONE, "Are you a Christian man?"They invariably say yes.I then say "Well I am an Atheist and I would NEVER do to you what you just did to me."If I was a Christian I might respond to his answer with "Then why don't you act like one?"I wouldn't stand for it. Not for one second. The entitled asshole isn't going to jump the line on me, no bloody way. I would yell right in his ****ing ear that he wasn't next and to move to the back of the line.

I notice a lot of people being incredibly rude these days.I was in line to buy s bottle of wine last night and the man in front of me buying beer freaked out on the poor female clerk at the counter because she told him they were out of bags. He called her a "stupid bitch" and stalked out. No one should be treated with that kind of disrespect.

With all the gun violence and hate crimes we are reaching the point that we need armed security guards at the ready. Hopefully someone clicked this guy's picture at the very least.

Whenever a lefty asks me if I am a Christian man I say I am Jewish and not to assume what gender I identify with.
