Our little enclave here sounded like a war zone last night. Sigh.

We have to dose two of our dogs with Trazodone because of fright. And the sheer amount of litter in the streets in the form of exploded, colored paper is positively insane.  :argh:

We protected our beastly little cat as well from all the sounds, which went on in our neighborhood even after the Fairgrounds display.

BTW ... Thanks again for your service Eupher, and to all who have served & to those still serving the country!  It really does mean a lot to us!

Oh Mercy!  Promised myself that  I was going to finally  take a break from this most addictive forum for awhile...

And  get back to RL (real life) problems back here at the moment.

However, "The best laid plans of mice & men gang  aft-agley" or words something like that  ...  Sorry Robert Burns :-)

Just couldn't resist  coming in again for this weekend!
