Cryano's been a big disappointment for his parents and teachers.
Arising from humble but honest origins on Staten Island, he began working as a runner for the New York Stock Exchange while still in his early teens. He applied himself diligently and kept his nose clean, so that by his early twenties, he was considered an up-and-coming Wall Street Wonder.
Probably by the time he was thirty, he was destined for riches from writing all these "how to make money on the stock market" books, tapes, and seminars.
But one day he walked away from his lucrative job and got aboard the Staten Island ferry, from which he hoped to commit suicide by jumping overboard, something that inexplicably never happened.
It's amazing what interesting lives some primitives have had; all one has to do is read carefully in between the lines of what they write.
