Had Trump not been president:

The Directorate of Global Health Security and Biodefense would not have been disbanded in 2018.
The CDC experts embedded within Beijing would have still been in place
COVID would never have been called a "hoax".
The President would never have promised cases "close to zero soon" with no factual basis.
Political leaders would not be hosting superspreader events.
We would have wasted little to no time blaming China.
US citizens would never have been fed misinformation about hydroxychloroquine and injecting disinfectants and warm weather making the disease disappear.
There would have been calls for shared sacrifice to pull through.
The Post Office would have sent masks to every American in April 2020.
The Defense Production Act would have been invoked to accelerate manufacture of protective gear and medical equipment.

I mean, that shit is just off the top of my head.

People are going to crap on anyone's handling of it... but he really never once did the right thing at all at any point because he refused to listen to anyone about it. Now Trump cultists have to double down on his stupidity because they can't backtrack or it will indeed make him and themselves look stupid.

He would have taken the threat in the PDB seriously. Imagine a world where it did not happen.

5. Yes. Imagine where the nation and world would be if there had been no republican presidents, W Bush and trump being the most recent and worst of the lot.

The republican party is a danger to the world, and we have Manchin and Sinema playing footsie with them. I so agree that the EC has to go, and so does the filibuster which is giving Manchin his 15 minutes of undeserved fame/attention.

Since McTurtle has annnounced that he, again as during O's time, will obstruct the Dem agenda to no end, leaving no possibility of bi-partisanship, there is no standing in Manchin and Sinema's positions anymore. The Dems really need to go after them hard, publicly ridiculing them even for their Quixotic yearnings.

You'd still have your slaves...

Had Trump not been president, we wouldn't have a vaccine yet, let alone would Trump's suck-cessor have inherited enough doses to vaccinate 300 million Americans. We would likely have more insane, unscientific, draconian lockdown policies. The economy would be a smoking wreck. And democratic politicians would be all like "China? I'm not familiar with that Pokémon."

It wasn't.

We would have wasted little to no time blaming China.

OK, DU-Moron try to justify China's and WHO's deceptions, https://www.gopbriefingroom.com/index.php/topic,412910.0.html !

US citizens would never have been fed misinformation about ... injecting disinfectants and warm weather making the disease disappear.

Trump never spoke about "injecting disinfectants". Find and read the April 23, 2020 press conference, DU-Moron!

Ever noticed that there's a "flu season"? And that flu "disappears" during summer? And the same of true of colds (some of which are coronaviruses)? Though incorrect, Trump's speculation was far from without precedent.

There would have been calls for shared sacrifice to pull through.

What the :spork: does that mean? :rotf:

Quote
The Post Office would have sent masks to every American in April 2020.

So the country's whole whole supply or most of it should have been expended by sending out 300 million masks? :rotf: And when those masks are thrown awa a day or two later, then what?

The Defense Production Act would have been invoked to accelerate manufacture of protective gear and medical equipment.

Pelosi and friends  where were still inviting the Chinese to come to san fran and join in their new year festivities after Trump's flight ban.  They screamed  "Trump is a racist!" for that ban. Soon after they accused Trump of inaction for his slow response.  Trump managed to get everything Cuomo demanded to fight the virus. Most of which went unused.  And these fools refuse to recognize this . LOOK IT UP

Just in case you need dates and context, Did Trump Take Covid-19 Seriously - Trump Actions and Donkey Brayings. Until March and April, Dem misleaders and health bureaucrats in Dem misled cities were minimizing Covid and undermining Trump's efforts.
