Why Republicans are never satisfied

4 years ago they controlled the White House and Congress. And yet they still acted like victims and were angrier than ever. They had all the power but did nothing with it. And as a result lost it all in 2020.

And now they're obsessed with getting back into power even though they have no agenda except to follow Trump and try to own the libs.

The reason the GOP is never happy even when they win is they don't believe their should be an opposition party especially not the socialist Democrats. If we win an election it can only be because of fraud or illegal voting.

Republicans will never be satisfied living in a country where they can potentially lose power. They want an Autocracy where elections are mere formalities if they're held at all. Like in Putin’s Russia.

People who hope for a return to a healthy 2 party system are delusional. The Republican Party was never that healthy to begin with and since Obama got elected twice they've passed the point of no return. The fight of our lifetime is to continue to try to block them at every turn from achieving their goal.

1. They should be real happy

Over all the laws that red states are getting away with enacting lately strangling gay rights, voting rights, abortion rights, protesters’ rights .... in my view, they are getting what they want every day.

3. Addicts are never satisfied

Republicans are addicted to power. The more they have, the more they want--and they won't rest until either they or the American republic are destroyed. They're losers because they're dead inside: no conscience, no heart, and no soul, which compels them to kill everything around them. Pathetic.

8. The entire republiTHUG party needs to be RICO'ed out as a criminal enterprise, that's what they are

acting like. I particularly thinking of the hundreds of millions of dollars that rump pocketed for his own use, using something akin to fraud to entice millions more from his followers in a scam that allowed recurring withdrawals to occur from the bank accounts of his stupid followers (kind of serves them right too, if you ask me). Even the FEC (Fed. Election Committee) said that these recurring payments was a scam and that this shouldn't be allowed.

I still wonder to this day what in the world republicans went over to Russia and met w/ unsavory characters for some reason...those reason(s) and notes/etc. were NEVER released. These republican traitors were caught by the cameras too. So, they can't claim that the media/us/etc. are mistaken, just like josh 'overbite' hawley is now claiming w/ his clenched fist seemingly to encourage the 1/6/21 insurrectionists.

Traitors all. 14th Amendment them all. No more ***** footing, since they wouldn't give anyone else the benefit of the doubt if and should something negative (in their small minds) happens. RepubliTHUGS will jump through hoops to try and nail innocent victims w/, e.g., the stupid repetitive hearings on Benghaze that they tried numerous times to nail HRC.

How do posters at DU get so many things exactly backwards?

Republicans (at least the more established ones) don't do jack shit when they have power. They always fall for the dems' old tactic of smearing, then they back off their policies, and compromise. Republican-appointed judges want to appear non-partisan.

As a YouTuber I follow would say, DU's sentiments are what one would call "guilt by projection".

Speaking of never satisfied, exactly who is it that has Cap’n Dementia in the WH, 50+1 in the Senate, the majority in the House, but is still complaining about Republicans?

Speaking of being obsessed with power, who is it that wants to add 2 new States, end the Senate filibuster, end the EC, and add 4 or 6 justices to the USSC? Sounds like a group that are very power hungry.

They want to.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

No, next question.

 :cheersmate:
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”
