Carville says we're too woke

What do you think?

I called James Carville hoping to get his thoughts on President Joe Biden’s first 100 days in office.
He obliged — then, one question in, brushed aside the exercise to talk instead about why the Democrats might be poised to squander their political advantage against a damaged GOP.
His failure to cooperate may have been for the best since the first 100 days ritual can sometimes lead to dull, dutiful analysis. What Carville offered up instead was a blunt critique of his own party even after a successful 2020 election cycle — a sequel of sorts to his fulminations during last year’s Democratic primaries. The longtime Democratic strategist is mostly pleased with Biden, but it’s where much of the party seems to be going that has him worried.
“Wokeness is a problem,” he told me, “and we all know it.” According to Carville, Democrats are in power for now, but they also only narrowly defeated Donald Trump, “a world-historical buffoon,” and they lost congressional seats and failed to pick up state legislatures. The reason is simple: They’ve got a “messaging problem.”

1. Just trying to counter QOP lies...

is a full time job. When 35+ percent of the electorate live inside an alternative reality bubble it's the height of folly trying to reach them. That leaves Independents, who seem extremely confused about what's really going on in this country.
The problem is, and has been, social media. As long as Facebook (particularly Facebook) and Twitter are going to allow the QOP and foreign enemies to manipulate their platforms there is no way to change the "messaging problem". And when you have the multiple propaganda Wurlitzers, OAN and FOX, echoing the "BIG LIES" of every QOP Congress-critter, the problem is magnified exponentially.
I wish Carville would offer some suggestions as to how we combat the "messaging problem" he says we over-woke Democrats have.

2. The Defund the Police stupidity costs Democrats a number of seats that we should have won

I agree with Carville

Perhaps it's both?  I don't know, y'all have to figure it out and you won't because you always lie to yourselves about what the problem was.  IE; Hillary didn't lose, the election was stolen!  That woman was never electable.

As is obvious to all of us, the Dems created these kooks, often times to achieve temporary goals, only to find they can’t shut them down after they’ve accomplished whatever it was they wanted to accomplish. The crazy lives on.

Problem is they keep doing it, mainly to the detriment of the average citizen. The Dems simply can’t control their crazy constituency.

For example, just on a simple political level, I’ve found it interesting how the Dems could convince 90% of black voters they care about them while using them every 2 and 4 years at election time only to discard them until the next election cycle. And there are several other special groups that fall under the same spell. Yet they continue to be able to rope these and other foolish groups to fall under their spell. This “woke” nonsense is the latest.

“Woke” is dead, they just don’t know it yet. Question is how will they lash out when they wake up? And this creation is more likely to lash out than others have. Will they eventually wake up, or will they do like these other groups and fail to recognize that the Dems simply used them and will only revive them should they need to use them again? Given how stupid and immature they are, they’ll be no different than the others.

If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

1. We could debunk lies by the dems until the sun burns out. And their lies have done immeasurable damage.

2. Independents are not confused about what's going on in this country; they are generally people who want policies that align more with the democrats, but recognize that the Democratic Party is being hijacked by numbskulls.

Oh, no! Not at all, DUpipo! You need to get even woker!!! EVERYONE should have to self-flagellate over stuff they said when they were as young as six or seven! Even if it was 50 or 60 years ago! Please, continue to scour beloved children's literature for one single misstep on the authors' parts, in order to cancel people who've been dead for decades. You need to do the HARD WORK of informing the unwoke that everything about this country has always been raaaaaaaacist, and that we need to atone!!!! More riots! More arson! More looting! That's the ticket to winning elections.
