Nearly 2 in 3 voters want someone else

Stunning 62.4% of Americans would like to see better choices of candidates, parties in future

WASHINGTON - A Zogby International poll commissioned by WND shows a surprisingly low 71.7 percent closely identifying with either of the two front-running, major-party candidates for president and a stunning 62.4 percent expressing their desire to see more viable candidate and party choices in future elections.

Unlike any other scientific poll conducted in 2008, this survey asked randomly selected respondents about their level of enthusiasm for presidential candidates and offered the actual alternatives to the major party candidates that will appear on most ballots across the country – as well as the option of simply not voting.

Barack Obama came in first with just 38.1 percent of the vote to John McCain's 33.6 percent.

A whopping 21.3 percent said they were still undecided – a remarkably high figure for this late in the campaign that ends Nov. 4. But another 7.3 percent indicated they would not be voting at all....

I'd be interested to see what BOTH parties make of this little ditty.  After all, the 9% approval rating for Congress - to my knowledge - doesn't distinguish between the Democrat clot-poles and the Republican ass-grabbers in the largest whorehouse on the Potomac River.  From my perspective - admittedly somwhat biased from my own frustration with the 535 asshats and their sycophantic minions - the people around me are sick to death of the bullshit from all of 'em, without exceptions for race, creed, sex, orientation, or political affiliation.

Not much changes when some dispicable crumb of a man like Ted Kennedy has been a senator since the week The Four Seasons' "Big Girls Don't Cry" was the #1 song in the nation.

There are.  Every two years CongressShits have to regain the approval of their constituencies.  Every six years, the high and mightee lordships of the US Senate House of ****ing Lords have to do the same - in direct contravention of the intentions of the Founding Fathers, but the 17th Amendment was railroaded through by America's first fascist/"progressive" Dictator (Wilson), so what can you do?

The Founders intended for an educated people to be the single biggest limit on the power of any branch of the government or man/mob within one of those branches.  If the people refuse to stay informed on the usurpation of their final authority in matters of government; if the people refuse to exercise their authority to replace corrupt politicians who manage to worm their way into the organs of government, it is not the fault of the Founding Fathers if the corrupt politicians are no longer afraid of that final authority.

?Plus this year nature (cancer, anurisms, senility, etc) seems to be doing a pretty good job in culling the ranks of America's  only native criminal class. But  the problem remains, this organization has the unfortunate ability to attract those who's only interest is personal power , unearned wealth, and self agrandisement.

I too would prefer the elusive "FOR GOD'S SAKE, SOMEONE ELSE, PLEASE!!!!!" as my candidate. So, as that's not what we're going to get, I look for the conservative "good" in the candidates. Barry gets a zero. McCain scores with me in the best catagory possible, he's not doing it for the power, but to serve the nation. Sure, he'll make errors, only the dead no longer make errors, but it will not be to force  some form of government on us that we have all opposed all our lives.

I keep joing that if "None of the above" were an option on the ballot, it would win in a landslide.

Sad thing is, it isn't a joke anymore.

One of the other tings that Rush was quoting Zogby on today, was that the record low numbers for Congress-shits lately are accompanied by another trend that should be even more distubing for the shitheads we keep sending to the District.  Traditionally in the past, where Congress as an institution would merit low approvals from those polled, they would exempt their own congresscritter from that low approval.  In other words, "Congress stinks to high heaven, but my guy's okay."  That is no longer the case.  More and more however, that exemption is no longer there.  (More people seem to be coming around to my own personal belief that all 535 of them asshats should be hitting the unemployment lines this November.)

Zogby is also warning now that he doesn't see the trend to support the huge Democrat sweep this November that the merry band of idiots had been projecting for so long.

Do you plan to round up all ptarmigans and exterminate them in death camps? Just like what the bunnies did in the Great Ptarmigan/Rabbit War, which was really genocide.

Then all you have is hope.  Hope you get a Pepsi next time you stop at a vending machine.

You mean some are not pleased with the Obama bin Biden selection? :-)

I'm pleased with his choice "Plugs" Biden will, in the end, hurt more than he helps. America cannot afford a Saul Alinsky socialist in the Whitehouse.
