So, I don’t know. Is Buckwheat comparable to Oreo??  You decide.

A Colorado state representative referred to one of his colleagues as "Buckwheat" today.

Reminder: Colorado is the same state from where Lauren Boebert comes. But too, the same state as one of our best Democratic Representatives, Joe Neguse - he keeps it rational, thankfully.

Wtf. A Colorado state representative referred to one of his colleagues as “Buckwheat” today.

Buckwheat is a racial slur derived from the 1920’s film Little Rascals.

So, calling Senator Scott an Oreo, "Uncle Tim", etc. is perfectly fine with DUpipo, but an R calling a black colleague "Buckwheat" is horrific racism? ::) Like I say in my sig, All DUmmies ....

Incorrect.   Buckwheat was a character in the little rascals series of film shorts from the 1920s and 30s
