Fox has called it for McConnell. That was fast.

South Carolina called.

Local news have Kentucky at 8 points ahead for McConnell.  The guy is saying that Lexington and Louisville will make the difference. They have not called it yet.

Crist files emergency motion to extend voting hours...

Story:

http://www.wtsp.com/story/news/politics/elections/2014/11/04/crist-campaign-files-motion-to-extend-voting-hours/18488321/

In Broward county. I bet that is one of his strongholds.

Can Florida do anything right in an election?

I live in KY. It is not surprising that Mitch won. But the fact that he is winning bigger than expected and everyone called it immediately, is a good sign nationally. And with VA being too close to call, even better.

FOX radio is saying that Mark Warner led by 20 points in that Senate seat all year, and now it’s too close to call.

FOX is also saying right now this may portend a good Republican night.

Quote
COLUMBIA, South Carolina — South Carolina voters have sent Republican Tim Scott back to the U.S. Senate, making him the first black candidate to win a statewide race since just after the Civil War.

Scott was declared the winner based on projections from exit poll data.

Scott has served in the U.S. Senate since January 2013, appointed to the post by Gov. Nikki Haley after Jim DeMint resigned. He has spent his time quietly building support back home and expanding his base from Charleston. His seat will be up for re-election for a full term in 2016.

Scott is also the first African-American senator from the South since Reconstruction.

Scott beat Democratic Richland County Councilwoman Joyce Dickerson, who also is African-American, and Jill Bossi of the upstart American Party.

I think I need to move to South Carolina.  They wrapped up the governor race and both senate races already.

So far, Crist has taken Tampa and Orlando no surprise. Lot of Democratic Puerto Ricans there and retirees.

He's also taken part of the East Coast north of Broward. Lot of money in that area.

Scott is gaining ground. All the rural areas are coming in red. Only like 100k votes behind right now.

Warner 37%, Gillespie 63%, in Virginia, but again, that's with only 1% of precincts reporting.  Might not hold.

I don't have cable, anyone know who is live streaming on the web?

Prefer FOX or CNN. Sites I'm finding are just slowly updating maps.
"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."
