Being called garbage is worse than being called enemies?
I think the Repubs, in general, need to take the higher moral ground.
I read an article the other day (might have been here on CC) that stated that the Republican party didn't go through all the whooping and celebrating and in-your-face stuff after the 2010 election as the Dems did in 2006.
Boehner's tone, in addressing the press/audience, was muted. He stated, "We have a lot of work to do," which is, I think, what Americans want to hear in public. What's stated behind closed doors is something else, but to treat idiocy (Pelosi) with more idiocy does not do the Republican party a bit of good, IMHO.
By all means, the Repubs need to be aggressive in rolling back as much of the crap that Pelosi and her ilk have shoveled down our throats, but to publicly gloat and whoop and holler does not do a lot of good in getting the job done.
YMMV.
