And since I have not yet found found definitive answers to the following questions.. I guess I'll just ask .. point blank:

Is this forum just another chit-chat exercise ... to exchange "cutsie" little quips ...... ?????????

Or do some of the folks here .. take the catastrophic disaster happening in this country today seriously enough to at least try to
do something about what is very very wrong in this country ????

President Bush's tax cuts don't expire until 2011, and a large portion of the taxes and spending in the "stimulus" bill don't take effect for another year or two.  There is a chance the Republicans in Washington can put the brakes on this mess, but that is up to them.

The so-called "stimulus" bill contains damned-little (if any) "stimulus".

Obama's goon (and loon) squads intend to inflict more than enough NEW-TAXES to effectively neutralize any possible benefit Bush's tax-cuts anyway.

And any chance the Republicans in Washington can put the brakes on this mess, but that is up to them.

Well, yes what you say is true.. but we can't wait until 2012. We have to .. START RIGHT NOW.

Yes of course the 2012 election is important.. but not nearly as important nor as urgent as the 2010 mid-term election which includes not only the 2-year congressional seats but also (all or most) state and local elections.

Remember The US Congress ( House of representitives ) really runs this country.. because everything runs on MONEY and Congress controls the purse-strings. The Senate is just 100 "spoilers" who really can't do anything completely on it's own .. without support of the Congress.

Even the President does not have the  the power of the purse as the original founders wisely intended.

I don't know where you live.. but that doesn't matter. What needs to be done.. has to done everywhere everybody lives. We can not wait for self-serving professional politicians to do what has to be done.

Everyone who is reading this post has Email service. And every politician and bureaucrat in Washington also has Email service. And Email is FREE -- or at least is should be. Anyone who has an Email service that charges for the number of Emails sent .. needs to get better Email service that **IS COMPLETELY FREE**.

We have scare the holy-hell out of every politician, every bureaucrat, every gimme'crat and commie-crat in this country.  It is long past the time that we should have been reminding all the bloated bombastic bureaucraies of the constitutional fact that THEY WORK FOR US. That is exactly how fhe U.S. Constitution says this country is supposed to work.

It is time for us to remind all the malevolent members of our Commie-Congress who their very angry bosses really are.

Of course ..  only a very, very tiny (microscopic) portion of  the millions of American voters .. are likely to ever see or hear about this forum posting. Sooo .. to those who are reading it .. you need to convey what you read here to every one you know.

No matter where you live or how many ( or few ) people you know.. the basic gist of what you just read above .. needs to be conveyed and widely discussed .. where ever you are.. where ever you go -- every meeting of any kind .. churches, town hall meetings, civic groups.. All we need to do is post on internet websites using Big red letters and Shiny fonts in absolute bullshit generalities and cheerleading rhetoric to people that we know nothing about and haven't taken the time to interact with or get to know about how they can fix everything by emailing people. 

Then when said people are disgusted at some nOOb treating them like they are roughly intellectually equivalent to a dirt coated chunk of rock we can get all pissy and accuse the same bunch of people that we don't know and haven't bothered to interact with in any detail of being "Sniping Trolls" on their own forum because they don't appreciate our clearly stunning genius and shower us with praise for offering the shallowest of all possible pep speeches.

And we should probably type insulting crap in CAPITOL LETTERS to make our points clearly and succinctly.
