My biggest disappointment was listening the Sen Arlen Spectre (misspelling intended) weasle out a very shamefaced explanation of why he was voting for the stimulus bill on the Hannity show. You could tell that Sean was highly pained in his interview, and if Arly didn't understand what was at stake, then he's truly in the dark. The ONLY congressional chance in hell that we had was a filibuster. Even McCain was calling this stimulus for what it was, which is saying quite a bit.

Exactly 630 days until the general election that will return the Congress back to the GOP, most probably, but by then the Democrats will have screwed things up so badly. At that point, the press will take over the ball and start to demonize the new republicans for trying to screw up Obama's messes, and that is what I"m preparing my site for.

there was apparently a big dust up between him and laura ingraham today on her radio show.

wow.  it gets worse.  how could you cave in before the galactically incompetent nancy pelosi?

Quote
Specter to GOP: Don't push Pelosi too far

Pennsylvania Republican Sen. Arlen Specter, one of three GOPers expected to cross the aisle on stimulus cloture, offers a Washington Post op-ed today in defense of the "Moderate's Bill" which cut about $100 billion from the House stimulus package.

His argument to Republicans: We've pushed Pelosi as far as she's willing to go -- and need to take this deal now.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says the proposed cuts "do violence to what we are trying to do for the future," especially on education. Her objections are a warning to conservatives that more cuts would be unlikely to win House approval. They are also an admission of the high price that moderates have been able to extract for their support of stimulus legislation.

greta is such a doormat.  she has the donald on.  he said The PresidentStar! did well and sounded smart, and we have someone in office who knows what they are doing "finally".  he launched into something equally mindless after that, but I flipped the channel.

it's obviously possible for the severely retarded to still amass a fortune in real estate in NYC under the right circumstances.

Wasn't Specter on the Warren Commission?

At least Gerald Ford had the sense to call it quits in '76.

Donald Trump was good at making money. I don't understand when anyone would solicit his opinion about any other matter whatsoever, including the economy. We may as well ask the celebrities in Hollywood to comment on foreign policy.

You can't fool me. Greta is actually Alan Colmes in drag.

Now you know.
