Good news for the nation , bad news for the GOP

So that brings the unemployment rate to--what--8.8% ?

Go find a stat on workforce participation then get back to us.

See, troll?  Not difficult.

But also consider that what the BLS release DOESN'T tell you is that a lot, and I mean A LOT of people have been looking for a long time.

Read the entire release and tell me the situation is all that bright.  Try.  I'm beggin ya.

Wow...227,000 jobs created. That's cool considering new unemployment claims run 320-350,000 per WEEK....

Yeah, how much money did he BLOW running up the debt so the unemployment wouldn't go above 8%? That right there is enough for anyone to see that this jackass isn't fiscally responsible to hold a position higher than wastewater treatment operator, and I'd be fearful of that.

That's in a decent economy.  Most of the time under Obumbles it's been over 400K.  Granted, people changing jobs is part of the landscape, but when EVERYONE is looking for work...

From BLS

http://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.nr0.htm

Quote
Household Survey Data

The number of unemployed persons, at 12.8 million, was essentially unchanged in
February. The unemployment rate held at 8.3 percent, 0.8 percentage point below
the August 2011 rate. (See table A-1.)

Among the major worker groups, the unemployment rates for adult men (7.7 percent),
adult women (7.7 percent), teenagers (23.8 percent), whites (7.3 percent), blacks
(14.1 percent), and Hispanics (10.7 percent) showed little or no change in February.
The jobless rate for Asians was 6.3 percent, not seasonally adjusted. (See tables
A-1, A-2, and A-3.)

The number of long-term unemployed (those jobless for 27 weeks and over) was little
changed at 5.4 million in February. These individuals accounted for 42.6 percent of
the unemployed. (See table A-12.)

Both the labor force and employment rose in February. The civilian labor force
participation rate, at 63.9 percent, and the employment-population ratio, at 58.6
percent, edged up over the month. (See table A-1.)

The number of persons employed part time for economic reasons (sometimes referred
to as involuntary part-time workers) was essentially unchanged at 8.1 million in
February. These individuals were working part time because their hours had been cut
back or because they were unable to find a full-time job. (See table A-8.)

In February, 2.6 million persons were marginally attached to the labor force,
essentially unchanged from a year earlier. (The data are not seasonally adjusted.)
These individuals were not in the labor force, wanted and were available for work,
and had looked for a job sometime in the prior 12 months. They were not counted as
unemployed because they had not searched for work in the 4 weeks preceding the
survey. (See table A-16.)

Among the marginally attached, there were 1.0 million discouraged workers in
February, about the same as a year earlier. (The data are not seasonally adjusted.)
Discouraged workers are persons not currently looking for work because they believe
no jobs are available for them. The remaining 1.6 million persons marginally attached
to the labor force in February had not searched for work in the 4 weeks preceding
the survey for reasons such as school attendance or family responsibilities. (See
table A-16.)

Inflation? Who's worried about inflation. Obama is going to mail out some little stamps with a 0 (zero) and 00 (double zeroes) on them to add to the bills that you already have. A $1 becomes a $10, a $20 becomes $200, a $50 becomes $500 and if you're one of the evil filthy rich that voted for him, a $100 becomes a $10,000.

These are all private-sector jobs zero public-sector jobs

If you're not informed about the most recent months job numbers then you have no business debating job creation

Again, link?

Now, if they were added, compare that to the number of jobs lost during his administration.

Oh, and answer this:

A) What was the unemployment rate when he was elected?

B) What's the unemployment rate now?

C) How much money did he add to the national debt?

D) Who controls Congress right now?

If you have no idea how many jobs must be created per month to reduce the UE number one-tenth of one-percent you are a liberal.

Don't forget about "Yes we canny".
I really thought to meaningless platitude bumper stickers wouldn't get owebuma elected last time.
Well I have to admit I was wrong.
Now that owebuma has a record he will have to defend the bumpers stickers probably won't work as well.

Most of those are part time jobs making minimum wages. You lie if you say differently.

BTW, you are the one that needs a lesson on the facts.

Yes, things are improving in liberal eyes only.

How do you like this little FACT...the company I work for is moving it's manufacturing to Mexico by the 1st quater of 2014...200 more job losses just in my area. Yep, obama's policies have really helped the job market. The proof is in the pudding....

Funny you should say that. The company I work for was bought out by a Mexican company, and my services will no longer be needed as of the end of March. At least it wasn't the ides of March. The owebuma worshippers have not been doing enough idolizing at their altars and shrines, or lighting enough candles to their savior to have his economic policies keep me from being cast into an economic maelstrom.

Same thing happened to me back in 1992. Company moved to Nuevo Laredo, MEX. I could have gone to Montgomery, AL, where we had no friends, I'd have had a new boss with whom there was a mutual dislike, more responsibility, more travel, no help, and other added responsibilities. My wife would have taken a $25K loss in pay.

Where were the benefits of moving someplace where we'd never be accepted? So we didn't go. Turn out there weren't any salary increases for over 3 years, too.

Jobs increase, in the govt sector. Good news for libs, bad news for the freedom of the private sector. Lets just put more strain on the hard working people with actual dreams and goals in our lives. Where do govt workers get paid from? Obama? No every clean living, tax paying, law abiding citizen in this once great nation.

The media and Democraps used to rail against Bush when he was President that most of those jobs created were min. wage jobs. You don't hear that anymore since the Magic Negro has been in office. Could it be that the liberal left wing media is in his pocket. Naw.  :argh:
