In real life, Judge Cannon had a number of motions that needed to be argued before her and on which she had to deliberate and rule. Her postponement simply recognized the fact that she could not do that with due diligence before the scheduled trial start date (May 28th, IIRC).

Not that facts matter to DU-grade Progs.

BTW, IIRC, the whole micro-kerfuffle with Alito is that his wife displayed an American flag upside down because of the Karenage of a neighbor and also flew the historic Pine Tree flag. Progs are Himalayanizing an imaginary ant hill because they hate how they think Alito will rule on one or more cases.
