Too Old To Climb A Very High Roof (Fix a leak)
« on: September 12, 2015, 02:20:52 PM »
At my age (over 39  :whistling:), I just can't climb a twenty-five foot ladder to access my roof anymore.
(Fear has Nothing to do with it!   :hyper: )

My question: I have two small leaks (nail holes?) which are dripping inside from the roof.

I bought a can of that rubberized spray (FlexSeal) and since the drips are very small, can I get away with coating the holes with the seal .. on the inside?
(attic access)

I know that this Not the correct way to do the job but if it will hold until next year, I plan on getting the roof replaced anyway.

I used FlexSeal on a gutter that had a small leak on a corner.  It's worth a try.

I would be concerned about the spray not penetrating far enough into the hole.
