You know, this looks mighty suspicious.

I thought the Big Zero would be picking strictly from his own pals.

But it seems many, if not most, of these people are.....Clinton pals.

Suppose there's something behind that?

Obama knows he is out of his league - He isn't stupid. So, he has gone back to the last Democrat team to get a leg up.

When one is a used car salesman, one expects to sell the car and never see it again. When one is the owner of the sales lot, those used car owners come to you for service and maintenance.

Obama went straight from selling to a state of responsibility for his offerings, without climbing through management ranks.

Simple, the Democrat party looks strong, but it is just as badly fractured as ever.  There is no real core just a bunch of self-interested groups who will attack each other like jackals when they aren't attacking an external threat.  They were unified against a external threat in the Republican party, and they benefited because the economy took a hit.

Now, they are without and external threat as they see it.  Which means they will turn on each other in a few months.
