in response to rush limbaugh urging his listeners to cross over and screw with our voting, I propose to all my fellow democrats, independents, liberals, and those who just believe in fair play that it is time for revenge

it is time for Operation: Bluto

Operation: Bluto will be a one week coordinated effort to call in consistently, hundreds to thousands of callers, to jam rush's phone banks to tell him to stop screwing with our primaries and that he's just a moron in general.

it will, in effect, shut the rush limbaugh show down.


we should begin here and spread this message of rebellion against the forces that are working to stop america's democracy. to other places like daily kos, huffington post, etc etc.

it is time we start fighting back. and in the time honored tradition of such great rebels as the sons of liberty, bill hicks, richard pryor, and bluto blutarksi and the rest of the members of Delta House, I believe Operation: Bluto is a way to make limbaugh pay.

Do they think that Rush is the one working the phones and that if they "jam" them, he'll stop the show or something? All radio personalities have people dedicated to working the phone bank and screening calls. They don't even understand basic phone technology. Morons.

It does make one wonder how they can be so totally obtuse and ignorant of everything.
If all the phone lines are in use they will get a recording or a busy signal.
Eventually a call will get answered on an open line and if they immediately start screaming their inanity the staffer will hit the "next sound you will hear will sound like a dial tone but please be patient and in just a moment you will be speaking with Rush" button.  ::)

I figured that's why they watch Olbermann.  KO sure isn't entertaining enough on his own... I guessed Rush made his list of Worstest person of the week (nice grammar, Keef  :whatever:).
