The financial reasons are...I'm a perennial juvenile who doesn't work and otherwise contributes nothing to this marriage. Therefore, he's mean and gets drunk because he can't stand the sight of me. I'm looking for excitement and, hopefully, the next meal ticket.

Ask me to interpret these things anytime. I'm old and cynical.

I'm betting greenbriar liked the cruise because of the 24 hour all-you-can-eat buffet.  The "I'm in love" is just the excuse she tells herself as to why she put on those extra 20 lbs.

Last time I cruised, they don't have the 24 hour buffet anymore.  It was Carnival so I don't know about other lines..

Yeah but in the Thornbirds the priest turned out to be gay...kind of took all the wind out of the romance, same thing with Sho Gun.
