US Marine acquitted of all charges in Haditha killings
« on: June 05, 2008, 05:41:30 AM »
Jun 5 05:22 AM US/Eastern

A court martial has acquitted a US Marine for his role in the deaths of 24 civilians in Haditha in Iraq in 2005, the sixth man to be exonerated in the affair.

Lieutenant Andrew Grayson, 27, was declared "not guilty on all charges" by a jury, said a spokesman for the Camp Pendleton military base in southern California where the hearing started on May 28.

YES!

I hope the upcoming trial for the other guy turns out in his favor.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Anyone know what the status is on the Sergeant's slander lawsuit against Murtha?  I hope he's selling tickets to it.

It pretty much was pre-ordained after all and is a prime example of the kind of verdict you will get when you set the fox to guard the henhouse.

Not surprised in the least. The USMC was just required to go through the motions, the lack of a conviction was likely part of the outcome from the beginning.

Just like convictions for the first five in the military tribunals(kangaroo court)in Gitmo are a done deal.

Maybe the US Army should ask the Marines how to get their troops off the hook!

Ohh, but weren't they ALL "murderers and rapists"?!?!?!?!?  guess not !!! I knew from the beginning that these fine Marines would be exonerated!!

As for the DUmmies...... **** y'all with a pineapple up your ass !!! The military has traditionally been harder on their troops than ANY court system within the US. Had they been found guilty, they would have paid the price!! The NCIS doesn't cut ANYBODY any slack when it comes to their investigations.

I'd like to see some of DU's members have a stay in a Military prison. I mean really some of them openly claim to have been in a civie jail so it couldn't be to hard on them right? Asshats have no idea just what goes on in eother a court martial or in a military prison. After seeing their post maybe we should let the prison system be run by the military.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret, you thumbsucking turd:  We in the Armed Forces are held to a higher standard than you, your worthless "leaders", and the entire Legislative Branch (including Benedict Kerry and Abscam Murtha).  We take great pride in the fact that the lowliest enlisted man has more character in his trigger finger than any politician alive.

If you want to know what kind of verdict you get when the fox guards the hen house, take a look at the Senate proceedings during Bubba's impeachment proceedings.

Oh, almost forgot:  Do us all a favor and shut the **** up about the things of which you are completely ignorant.  K?

I shoulden't be surprised by these fu*kwads anymore, they're becoming too easy to predict.

They are still assholes though.
