Speaking with Iranian television station Al-Alam, Mohamed Ghanem blamed Israel for supporting Hosni Mubarak’s regime. Ghanem also said that the Egyptian police and army won’t be able to stop the Muslim Brotherhood movement.

There are doubts about the loyalty of the Egyptian army to president Mubarak. If the brotherhood takes control over Egypt, it will be very messy from the whole region.

Seriously, only a complete moron would not recognize that the MB is the largest, most organized, and most militant faction of all the Egyptian opposition, and screwing around with regime change behind Mubarak's back would have about an 85% chance of them ending up in charge, with the predictable outcome on Egypt's Israeli policy.  But apparently our State department has been filled with morons for a very long time.

I would normally say bring it on BUT our Government is so hostile to Israel that I actually think they would side with the Muslims. And where are the Republicans speaking out against Obama and Hillary?

I'm reeeeeeeeeeally not sure that would be a good idea on our government's part. After all, we do have the power to overthrow, rebel, what have you under extreme duress. I would say if that were to happen, it would fit the definition.

The current government can only do so much/push that envelope so far before everyone says "That's ****ing ENOUGH!!"

Heard on the radio yesterday that Egypt has over 400 F-16 fighters and over 1,000 late model American made tanks. The Muslim Brotherhood wants a ready made, modern equipped fighting force to attack Israel and Egypt has it.

I dunno, while the Israeli's have much better training, the last time they took on the Muzzies, they were goin' against Soviet hardware. This time they would be goin' against American hardware!

Not only that, how many other nations will get involved against them, while Zero sticks his hands in his pants and plays pocket pool?

If the Egyptian army sent everything they had at Israel, the IDF would nuke the army while it was still in Egypt.
The military is smart enough not to go to war with a nuclear power.

Only Israeli nukes have kept the peace.

The so called Muslim Brotherhood has taken a greater role in organizing the protest against the Egyptian regime as it unfolds its independent political agenda. Rashad al-Bayumi, the Brotherhood`s second-in-command, announced in an interview with Japanese TV that the group would join a transitional government in order to cancel the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel, as it "offends the Arabs` dignity and destroys the interests of Egypt and other Arab states."

He further stressed that Egypt does not need American aid.

The Muslim Brotherhood does indeed participate in political activity and defend the democratic process.  That is not, however, because it has accepted the principles of Western democracy, but rather because the democratic process can be exploited to establish an Islamic regime which will then render democracy unnecessary.

and with these other ME countries protesting they become targets for terrorists take over as well.
