Requesting prayer for a little girl
« on: October 18, 2012, 10:45:43 AM »
I am asking all our Cavers to be in prayer for the daughter of my husband's boss. 5 years ago, doctors removed a tumor from her brain. They've gone back for scans every year and had started to believe the nightmare was over, but the latest scan found another one. Please pray for her health, for recovery from the next surgery and for comfort for her and her family. Thank you.

Oh, I am so sorry for the family. prayers going their way now. It is hard when this happens to someone in the family, but always seems so much worse when it is a small child. it breaks my heart to see the little ones sick.

You got it. Prayers on their way!

God never changes.
Patience attains all that it strives for.

God alone suffices.

Thank you all.  I'm not sure when the surgery is scheduled, but will let you know as soon as my husband finds out.  The girl's name is Abrielle and she is 12 years old.

Prayers up, this is a tear jerky , 12 years old, a young girl that has 60+ years ahead of her .   Darn, but Science has come a long way, one has to put faith in God and into Science to fix this problem.

It takes two wings for a bird to fly, Faith on one wing and Science on the other.   Both wings have to work together to fly. With faith and science I believe this Abrielle will have the best care possible ,tears go out for this child and even more for her parents. It is the parents I pray for, they suffer much more then their child.

She's got my prayers, Mrs. Smith.  I feel so bad for her and her family. :(

The surgery is scheduled for the 25th of this month...they aren't wasting any time!  She will be in the hospital at least 2 days after the surgery.  Thank you very much for praying, and I'd really appreciate it if you continue to pray for her and her family.  They are good people.

Abrielle is back home and feeling well, the surgery went fine and she was released from the hospital yesterday.  However, I am going to ask you all to continue in prayer, the radiologist saw something on the final scan that he will have a neurologist look at to determine if it is something to worry about.

Thank you so much!  A lot of churches in the area are praying about Abrielle, but we all know that more is only better!

I missed this on the first pass, Mrs. Smith, but I'm pretty sure God takes rain checks.

Lord, put your healing hand on the head of Abrielle and remove all that does not belong there. This girl has much to do before you call her home and may she honor you in the work she has in her future.

Going through some older messages, Mrs. Smith, how is Abrielle (such a beautiful name) doing?  I hope I haven't missed a new post on her progress, been gone more than here at the Cave.
