I see a lot of self flagellation going on here.

The "media" will no doubt want to discuss ad nauseum how the Harris campaign dropped the ball. But here's the thing.
It didn't. Harris ran a great campaign on traditional Democratic values.

See you in 2026. She ran a shitty campaign based on vacuous platitudes, empty speeches, and celebrity worship. It resounded with one group only: moonbatted DUmmies.


Nor did the Democratic voters drop the ball.

Even THEY weren't impressed: they didn't even show up. Too busy self-flagellating, I guess.

 We
did the right thing. We - along with a minority of moderate old school Republicans, recognized the threat and voted. It wasn't enough. There aren't enough of us. By "us" I mean people who possess a greater circle of concern than simply enlightened self interest. All the suggestions regarding "the message" fail to understand that playing to one portion of the electorate invariably alienates another. If you're a friend to all, you're naturally perceived as a friend to none.

Whatever all that means.


I used to believe that everybody had the capacity to understand fairly complex issues if the information were presented to them in a friendly and un-threatening way. Everybody can be taught about climate change for example, and has the capacity to understand the threat to themselves and to their family. Everybody can surely understand how the accumulation of vast wealth and the influence it buys can't possibly be good for them. Or so I thought.


In other words, you assumed everyone could be shamed or coerced into thinking the way you do. I believe in climate change: I also believe it is natural and we are in a cycle, and it is suicidal and arrogant to think that mankind can change the meteorological vicissitudes of ****ING STARS IN OUTER ****ING SPACE. Also, your teeth-gnashing about the "vast accumulation of wealth" is limited to people you do not like, and somehow looks past people like George Soros, Bill Gates, and even Bruce Springsteen, a literal billionaire who believes in Kamala SO MUCH that he had to be paid to embarrass himself.



A majority of Americans cannot think their way out of a paper bag - nor do they have any interest in doing so. Talk of greater opportunity reads as work harder or learn new things. Such a messagae doesn't resonate with the stay at home dullards, the man boys, the "spank me daddy" evangelicals or the man-babies who get upset there's not a job waiting for their privileged white ass. Just because.

Work harder=do what you want us to do. Learn new things=turn our children over to your coterie of freaks. You arrogance was your undoing now, and it will be later, as well.


Too many Americans are too far gone. They persist in wanting to break it all down because they falsely think they have nothing to lose. Many don't vote at all. Other mistakenly believe that their freedom to vote and "bet" on a better outcome will always be an option - like game of chance - a wheel of fortune - a scratch off lottery ticket. These folks are just fine being who they are. They have no desire to be curious, because that might involve changing.

Said the liberal who still believes in "Russian interference"



Now there will be a tremendous brain drain in this country because those who have a mobile skill-set will leave. I'm too old to leave, but if I were 20 years younger I'd be making plans. There's something appealing about relocating to an altogether foreign land because you get to meet new people who haven't managed yet to break their country or your heart.

Anyone who wants to leave can **** the ****ing **** off. Those "brains" you speak of are overwhelmingly "employed" in the humanities, and we have more than enough of those skipping student loan payments as it is.

Of that I am certain. DU has a well-known and time-honored tendency to violent onanism

1. I am totally good with Dems insulting normal people. [Sarcasm] It plays so-o-o-ooooo well with voters. [/Sarcasm]

2. In the real world, Stay-At-Home-Moms (SAHMs) usually work harder and/or smarter and/or longer than the Dad with a job. Not that I'm mystified by a Prog who is probably OK with killing babies in-utero seeing no value in raising children (and managing a home).

3. Not sure what this intended insult refers to. Does it mean men who have jobs while their wives are SAHMs? If so, by the DU-Denizen's "logic", SAHMs are "dullards" for not having outside-of-the-home jobs, while their husbands are "man boys" because they do have outside-of-the-home jobs.

4. DU-Denizen harumph hereby demonstrates that (s)he (I suspect "she", given the post's denigration of SAHMs and misandry ... very feminazi) has never gotten to know actual Evangelical Christians, and probably has not set foot inside an Evangelical church. Evangelicals - women as well as men - are often well educated, gainfully and meaningfully employed, and strong individuals.

5. That kind of entitlement is more characteristic of Libs and Progs, especially of the activist variety (e.g. Jesse Jackson's demands that tech companies hire more blacks despite few blacks being in tech).

Remind me ... who was President from January 2017 through January 2021? This chimeric brain-drain didn't happen then and won't happen during January 2025 through January 2029.

The corner stone of her campaign was the lie that she grew up in a middle-class family AND if you vote for me I'll give you stuff and fix the stuff that became "not-broken" while I was in charge.
