Let's just say this board was created because of Ron Paul supporters. NCAABBS isn't the only board with a Ron Paul-supporting Admin. CU's is worse though. Conservatives don't like being accused of having a "hive mentality" because we don't support a fruitcake. When the Admin of CU came out with that proclamation, we were inundated by no less than 100 "new" members at CU who were all Ron Paulians telling us we weren't true Conservatives, :blah: and how we were idiots. Yeah, great way to win someone over to your cause. ::)

Ron Paul is the Howard Dean of 2008. He is a fad that these people, around my age, try to cling too. He's different, not mainstream, an underdog, and different. He will eventually be forgotten, and unlike Dean, won't get another chance to do anything for his party.

I can not disagree with that...in fact I think that's a pretty accurate assessment plus I get wary of anyone people sitting on the edge of sanity cling too.
