Hello. I'm a professor, researcher, and business owner who likes to discuss and investigate conservative theory and discussions.
I came here because I am irritated that I can't even discuss theory elsewhere without mindless arguments that equate to simple irrationality bashing. I checked out a few forums and thought this one looked like a good one to get involved with!
I look forward to some discussion, sharing ideas and learning from others!

I'm on a number of forums which are "politics free zones" or just a ruthless liberal vs. conservative bashing... I looked through a number of forums I've found on google but a number of them were small, and a few forums that were "sponsored" by a certain political group, PAC, or radio host, and while I am still on a few, many of them are very... biased... towards specific viewpoints. While looking on here I see there are a number of people who are very vocal of their thoughts, I didn't see anything that "forces" a specific conservative thought process. I also like how general this forum is (has areas to talk about different things like firearms and sports and other areas). I don't want to bash other forums, as they all have their place and I'm not against any, I was just looking for a place that looked like I'd be most comfortable partaking in the banter!
I look forward to chatting up and getting to know everyone a little better!

Thanks! I'm going to get myself acquainted a little bit with some lighter talk about firearms, sports, and general before I jump into too far, but I appreciate it!

Welcome. What you mention there is the reason I won't join the Sean Hannity forum. I love Sean, but the people who run his forum are tools.

You all are way too... how should I put it... perceptive? Thats good though.... However, I'm hoping I can be open with ideas and conversations- I don't want to get myself into trouble as unfortunately political conversations are not always embraced among non-tenured faculty, and therefore cannot confirm or deny any allogations of explicit employers O-) Shame on me for not picking this fight at the moment!

I hate 8 legged species too, and I'm actually arachnophobic. Been working on overcoming that after a poisonous arachnId bite. Fortunately I am overly punny at times and therefore suggest you buy a vowel to intereperet the name for the alternative quad-gyrational species ;)

Welcome professor. I think you can voice your opinion about anything you like without getting into too much trouble. There is one thing though that nobody here likes...people who bash the military. I am sure you are not that kind of person though. Enjoy your stay I look forward to reading your posts. :cheersmate:
