Edited on Fri Jan-25-08 10:51 PM by fenriswolf
just wondering if the events of the past year (or the past 6 hehe) have caused you to think about moving. especially those who have no hope for a decent POTUS in the upcoming election.
Poll result (67 votes)
Awaiting my dual citizenship (2 votes, 3%) Vote
looking for escape routers right now (7 votes, 10%) Vote
thinking about it (41 votes, 61%) Vote
It's not to bad (1 votes, 1%) Vote
I love america to much to leave it. (16 votes, 24%) Vote
A few of the comments.

3. That would be "DUAL citizenship" - duel is 10 paces with pistols, or Douglas Fairbanks with a sword.

In any case, your poll doesn't have enough choices. I'm staying here because I love the physical land where I live. It has nothing to do with loving "America", which is an artificial statist construct.

4. I stopped loving America
about the time I came to recognize "uninsurable" was going to be my permanent status as long as I live here.
It's hard to love somebody who hates you in return.

7. Definitely moving out of the country....
...but not until I retire in 8 years, 3 months and 5 days.
I could physically do it now, but it'll be so much easier with a retirement package to live on...
In other words..."I hate the country that allowed me to be able to retire comfortably. :censored:

9. What? leave the racist, misogynistic, homophobic, god-obsessed USA?
and actually move to a civilized country? In a heartbeat, if I could afford it.
I hear Hell has some openings, why not go there a-hole.

We know their destination won't be Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, or China. Hypocrites.

If they go to Canada or England they better sign up for what ever health care they need the day they get there or make arrangements to come back here for it. France just LOVES America's :sarcasm: so I am sure they will feel welcome there. Maybe Germany will take them?

Most countries require that new citizens have a marketable and needed skill. None that I know of consider eating cheetos, smoking pot, and bitching about everything a skill.

Are you kidding? To the Parisians that's an art form!

All the more reason they wouldn't want to import ringers :)

I have to agree here. It is becoming increasingly difficult to insure the self-made insane people of the world.
It's hard to love somebody who hates you in return.
Again I agree, I do not love Godless DUmmy liberals.
