This is Adam Frey, solo euphonium, performing John Golland's "Peace" (the first 4:30 of the vid).

I'll be performing this same piece, along with two other selections, at my sister's wedding in Phoenix this coming Friday.

John Golland, a very well-respected British composer, died in 1993 but not before composing this piece in memory of his young niece, who died tragically young.

Saw them live this past summer while in Colorado. Watched a guy stage dive into someone I think they bumped heads and then the guy who jumped hit his head on the concrete. I also watched a guy have a seizure in a mosh pit earlier that morning. I also got to meet the vocalist to my favorite band that day. See Christian know how rock.
