Always have enjoyed story-songs. Marty Robbins and Harry Chapin come to mind, along with Gordon L.

Big Harry C is the man. I have several albums and listen all the time.

I used to like Cat Stevens alright. Now not at all since he converted to islam, and changed his name to Youssef Islam.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

Another raw demo from 1976, and features the bridge from Mean Street as the main bridge, and killer bass intro from Mike Anthony. Enjoy!

Ronnie Montrose , Rock Guitarist and Colorado native, dies at 64

SAN FRANCISCO — Rock guitarist Ronnie Montrose, a Colorado native who formed the band that bore his name and performed with some of rock's heavy hitters, has died.

His booking agent, Jim Douglas, said Montrose died Saturday at his home in Millbrae, Calif. He was 64.
Douglas said Montrose, who was born in Denver in 1947, had been in declining health for some time, battling prostate cancer and what Douglas termed "personal demons."

In addition to forming his own band in 1973, Montrose performed with a number of rockers, including Sammy Hagar, Herbie Hancock, Van Morrison, Boz Scaggs and the Edgar Winter Group.

Douglas said Montrose was working on releasing a DVD and starting a tour that would have taken him across the U.S.
Montrose is survived by his wife, Leighsa, as well as his son, his daughter and five grandchildren.

May not have been my first tapes but remember Montrose & Edgar Winter group and as one of my first tapes,

One of the smallest yet one of the best concerts I've ever attended. was in a Movie Theater in San Clemente Immediately after Showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. No i don't know of any connection other than a good time at both.
