These cats rock! Local Rochester N.Y. band "Duke Jupiter".
After the release of their first album Sweet Cheeks in 1978, Duke started touring with national acts, including, ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughan, David Bowie, Bob Seger, Robert Palmer, B. B. King, Toto, Sea Level, Huey Lewis and the News, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, Blue Öyster Cult, The Charlie Daniels Band, Outlaws and John Lee Hooker.

(First one won't embed, their best hit "I'll drink to you")

Duke Jupiter?  Now there's a name I haven't heard in a while.

Heard this on Celtic Crush on Sirius/XM this weekend. It was the number one requested song of the year. It's based on real letters found in Baltimore between father and son. It's an amazingly beautiful, melancholy song.

Let nothing trouble you,
Let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God never changes.
Patience attains all that it strives for.
He who has God lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.

A fantastic old 70's band lead by a wonderful violinist. Seen them at SPAC in the early 70's. They opened for Fleetwood Mac and stole the show!

"Liberalism is an essentially feminine, submissive world view. Perhaps a better adjective than feminine is infantile. It is the world view of men who do not have the moral toughness, the spiritual strength to stand up and do single combat with life, who cannot adjust to the reality that the world is not a huge, pink-and-blue, padded nursery in which the lions lie down with the lambs and everyone lives happily ever after."

~ Dr. William Pierce
