The voices in my head make good sense except for the little girl who wants bad things to happen to her, but she only comes out when I am in REM sleep.

This is "Tin Roof Blues" an original chart written by Zack Smith. Zack is the cornetist/trumpeter with Dixie Power Trio and he generates some kickass tunes.

Harmonium Brass sightread Tin Roof Blues this past Sunday. It is NOT a keeper -- it's very sloppy, especially in the accompaniment  :p . But I was experimenting today with the recording equipment and decided to upload my first piece to YouTube and my Facebook page.

Members  of Harmonium Brass are:

Paul Copenhaver, piccolo trumpet
Chris Farris, 2nd or "jazz" trumpet
Dr. Bruce Gordon, horn
Larry Bennett, tenor trombone
Allen Lawless (that's me), bass trombone

Yeah, I know.  Not my most fave of his songs, but I thought the selection was fitting.   :cheersmate: to The Man in Black.

I like most of his songs. It's a shame there aren't many of the old timers like him left.

Awesome!  Why aintcha Euphin???

Ain't no money in it. 'Sides, I gotta arrange a solo for quintet (whittle it down from a 10-piece). The solo stays the same, but the accompaniment will change.

Never enough hours in the day.....

Besides, the tuba is the euph's bigger brother. And the bass trombone is the device that lays waste to entire rows of viola players.  :evillaugh:

Gotta love that!  :rotf:
