Blues Traveler - Run-Around

"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

Some kind of dedication video but it's the best version of the song I could find on YT. ("*Warning* explicit God content" was funny, but that is not exactly the way I hear the song)

This song played on an adult contemporary station the other day, and I'd never heard it before.  Loved it, of course.  :)  OAR "Shattered"

Good one. I forgot how much I liked OAR and had not even heard that song before. I might just have to grab my "In Between Now and Then" album from the dusty stereo and put in back in my car rotation. LOL

I'd never even heard of O.A.R. until I heard that song.  I looked them up on the Zune Marketplace (some artists won't do business with either ZM or iTunes, so I was a bit worried), and lo and behold, all of their music is available for purchase/download.  :cheersmate:

Um, sure.. not for fags. Whatever ya say guy. I'm sure you'd find her album at Tower Records right next to the Village People and George Michael's albums.

Tower Records went south a few years ago.

But I can sell you some 8 tracks, if'n your interested.
