By some incredibly good luck, I stumbled on this 78 in a flea market along with ten other rare labels, all in very high grades of condition.  Paul Howard has always been one of my favorites, and I'm far to cheap to pay the going rate that his 78s command, so I was on cloud nine to have found my favorite song of his for what I paid.

I'm totally in a rockabilly phase right now. Carl Perkins, the Sun Records Elvis, Roy Orbison, Eddie Cochran, Dave Edmunds, The Reverend Horton Heat, I just can't get enough!

I like Suspicious Minds and In the Ghetto as much as any Elvis fan, but this is really his best stuff. Most don't realize how important rockabilly had on music in general and rock in particular. He did a 68 comeback concert you can watch on youtube. It's the hot Elvis...in black leather. That's Alright, Trying to Get to You and one of my all time favorites:

This was taken from one of Victor's hi fidelity 78s, which is why it probably does not sound like your grandpa's 78 records  :-).

Better to hear a Queen song than that blasted country music.   Turn the radio on in my area, and you're inundated with country or the same old hair band noise for the people that never musically matured past what they listened to when they were 15.  I only listen to one radio station in my area anymore anyways, and it's not in either of those genres. 

I'm also sorry you had to hear whatever that youtube video is.  I'm doubly sorry that I clicked your link.  Pass the glue when you're done with it.

I had a hard time finding Limbaugh's show in southern IL.  The station I found it on was running government PSAs for everything under the sun in place of advertising.  It was really sad.
