U.S. Senator Wants to Revoke Funding From City of Berkeley, Calif., for Vote to Boot Marines

WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., says the City of Berkeley, Calif., no longer deserves federal money.
DeMint was angered after learning that the Berkeley City Council voted this week to tell the U.S. Marine Corps to remove its recruiting station from the city's downtown.
In the meantime, a senior Marine official tells FOX News that the Marine office in Berkeley isn't going anywhere.
"We understand things are different there, but some people just don't get it. This is a part of the military machine that gives them the right to do what they do, but what they are doing is extreme," the official said.

Actually, it would just tickle the shit out of me if all their funding was yanked. Then make the witless, dickless, Birkenstock-clad, granola-chomping, America-hating, unwashed, cowardly, street-blocking, bullhorn-yelling, terrorist-loving, commie-sympathizing, treasonous, sexually-confused, unworthy, unknowing, God-hating, white-guilt-ridden, oxygen-wasting, greasy-haired, hemp-shirted, lowlife, scumbag, shit-for-brains, vomit-inducing, scum-sucking, liberal ****heads apologize formally to the Marines and the nation and provide free coffee, donuts and dry cleaning service to the recruiting center's staff for a year to get it back. I think that's exactly what he's hoping to do DUmmie! Look at it like this...right now, the city of Berkeley is beholden to the citizens of this country because those fine citizens in SC (including families of those who loved ones have died while the ugly, useless hags of Code Pink were protesting) as well as taxpayers from every other state in the union pay for services Berkeley gets from the feds. Stop getting that funding and there's no reason for the rest of the taxpayers in this country to have a say in how Berkeley treats the military.

Interesting that on that thread no one brought up the real issue: Berkeley is NOT being forced to accept US Recruiters. They are just not going to ged Federal $$ if they exclhude them. You want my money, you follow my rules.
