6. Was the poll before or after the corporate media told them how great the speech was?

9. Guess you missed this part of the article
The survey, conducted among a group of Americans who said in interviews conducted before the speech that they planned to watch and agreed to be re-contacted, only reflects the views of those who watched the speech, not of all Americans.
People who choose to watch a political speech such as this one tend to be more supportive of the speaker. In this case, the pool of speech-watchers was about eight points more Republican than the population as a whole.

16. It makes sense but it created a rather misleading poll.
What was the percentage of non-Trump supporters watched? How many people actually watched and truly paid attention to the address at all? Most people I know don't actually watch it even if they 'like' the president.
When looking at a poll, the small print (like the methodology used) matters.

Mark Dice had a video about this very subject. I wish I could find it--it's not coming up on a Youtube search.

Somebody counted. (http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/trump-references-self-60-percent-less-than-obama-in-first-joint-session-speech/article/2616118) IMO, there are doctors for people like that.

But note the headline from that link.
Trump references self 60 percent less than Obama in first joint session speech
Given the topic, a fair amount of first-person references are unavoidable; DJT showed Obama could have done so at least 60% less often. And since DJT was speaking of actual accomplishments ... :fuelfire:
