I don't watch football, nor am I religious, but I can't help but feel a little happiness with each win his team racks up.  It's only because I know it pisses off the anti-Christian left.

I'll just make it clear that I'm a God-fearing woman. The fact that Tebow is a virgin that prays for wins matters not.

My issue is Denver fans. This comes from a Chiefs fan, so you can understand my complete irritation. My teams sucks though, and I readily admit it.

Sorry about having to play us Sunday, Minky. It really doesn't bode well for you fans of KC. Even with Jennings out. ESPECIALLY since you guys just fired Haley. The W stats for a team that fires their HC in the regular season aren't real good.  :fuelfire:

Tell me about it.  I'm a Seahawks fan living in the midst of Bronco Country.  I've still got my "Bronco Buster" tee shirt from when I was a kid (watching one game a year at the Kingdome with my dadPBUH).  My 'Hawks let their "knows how to get championship performance" coach go, and then have the temerity to trade off the best QB they've EVER had:  now that QB is having a great year with his NEW team (God bless you, Matt Hasselbeck), and the 'Hawks are tied for 2nd place in the division with a 6 and 7 record...  :banghead:

Thank you for your condolences. They are appreciated....and warranted. The Chiefs blow. Haley's play calling was horrible. And Palko....don't get me started on Palko. Ugh! I'm drinking Captain Morgan just to dull the pain of being a lifelong Chiefs fan.

Friggin' Denver. Remember that time they beat us in the playoffs by rubbing Vaseline all over their arms and chests? Assholes, all of 'em! I did have a positive experience one time with Denver fans. I was in Denver back in the mid 90s for work and happened to be there a Sunday that the Chiefs were playing in Denver. I wore my KC colors and headed to the bar after being warned that wasn't a very smart idea. Well, I'm not THAT kind of fan. Anyway, the Chiefs ended up winning a tight game and at the end the Denver fans bought me tons of beer because I wasn't obnoxious. They were really good sports. God love 'em, they aren't totally lost.

Congratulations to the Chiefs for having a team that played an entire four quarters of football on Sunday. If the Packers ever did show up that day, I hope some gracious Chiefs fans showed them the way back to the airport.

It is a sure sign the favored team is going to lose if nobody can envision it.

Bah Humbug! Now we just need to focus on those dastardly Bears. If the Seahawks could upset the 49ers, that's be a great Christmas gift too. :)

Yeah sad. However, I've always heartily disliked the Squealers. Now I know moreso why. Couldn't even win ONE game for us to lock up homefield!

Oh, and I'm pretty sure other teams are going to be taking pages out of the Pats book on how to stop Tebow now. Sack, sack, sakity, sack. :fuelfire:

He made a couple good throws, but we'll just have to see in the coming years if he can ACTUALLY play pocket QB, cause last Sunday, he was...sub-par.

Starting to get freaky.

Quote
The fact that Tebow had 316 yards passing and averaged 31.6 yards per pass in the game didn't escape notice on Sunday night. Tebow wore "John 3:16" on his eye black in the 2009 BCS Championship game and has since become identified with the famous Bible message. The coincidental stats caused millions of fans to perform Google searches on the Bible passage in the past 24 hours. Here's one more unbelievable stat: John Ourand of Sports Business Journal reports that the final quarter-hour television rating for the Broncos-Steelers game was, you guessed it, 31.6.

Did you hear John Parr's remake of "Man In Motion (St. Elmo's Fire)?"

Instead of "St. Elmo's Fire" in the lyrics, . . .

. . .

. . .

. . .

Yup.  "Tim Tebow's Fire."  Cheezy, but it doesn't sound that bad (I heard a clip this morning).
