Unemployment, foodstamps, etc are deposited to these accounts.

One wonders why this is of concern to the lonestarnut primitive.

1. I don't know.. you might want to make a phone call or a visit to the department to find out..or turn them into money orders on the day they arrive at the bank..for bills you have to pay each month..The foodstamp one is only good for food, so it's probably safe..

I beg to differ Frank.  Already he has found a half dozen tax cheats and at least gotten them to pony up some cash.  Other than that ... not so much.

See, I don't even understand Lonestar's original question, wouldn't have the foggiest idea.  It reminded me of when I lived in Maine.  People there have PhD's in The System, knowing every little detail and loophole of how to get more from either the government or their employer.  It was very disturbing.
