Oh my.

The California piggy primitive, the poetess laureate of Skins's island:

My newest poem: " The Little Death"

They call it
The little death
Perhaps that’s because
You think you’re dying
At that moment of
Exploding pleasure.

I cannot know
Where it will take me
Any time
I go there

I never know how it’ll feel
It’s always different

But there are always tears
At the end
of my little death

Perhaps that’s ‘cause
I’ve glimpsed
My body’s mortality
In the cascading vibrations

Sorrow is the great liberator
It helps us
Lose ourselves
Inside it.

And when we return to life
We are so grateful
To have gotten there
Away from

Our little death.

Oh, I dunno.  I always preferred the Edgar Guest school of poetry, myself.

1. Never been here before. Seems...comfy enough. Nice poem!

Not how I experience things, though...

It's a bit off the beaten track, but it still works...

Hey, we all experience things in our own individual ways!

Glad you like my little work...

Thanks, sweetie...

And now it's my turn to say Wow...

Ask your girlfriend...she'll tell you if this is accurate for her.

I am really touched by your remarks, sweetie...

8. Well, that was a long hike over here to find your poem...

I saw your post on FB through my email, but couldn't reply there because it's blocked at work.

Yes, the French call it L'petit mort or some such (not sure on the spelling), but I remember it from Anais Nin or somewhere.

Very nice poem Peg.

Though, re the last line: I'm not so sure that I'm glad to come back, lol!

Yup, this forum sure is off the beaten track, but this is where I have permission to post this...

So, here we are!

Glad you enjoyed it, lol! Sorry about the last line...

Thanks, sweetie!

10. I gotta say though

I don't understand it being locked as a sex thread.

Some of the ones in some of the other poetry threads were much more raw than yours.

KaliforniaPiggy writing a poem about orgasms?

I need mind bleach now.  Lots of it.

Peg inspired me to write a quick poem...

They call it the D.U.
a place of deep dispair.
Hatred swirls around
Satan's earthly lair.

Anyone who is contrary
must be Repuke Fundie
working to make the rapture
happen this very Sunday.

They mock any Christian
who kneels down to pray;
yet, they worship at zero's altar
each and every day.

They claim compassion
for fellow man and land.
If you ever doubt it
here's a picture of a hand.

They say they're not crazy.
That brilliance fills their heads.
Of course this is D.U.
the place full of mental meds.
If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.

can you really
call it poetry when
its just another way
of writing
with no punctuation or sentence structure?
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

In a couple of weeks the college football season will be in full swing, and Coach Holtz won't have time for poetry.

You don't
understand them.
It is their way of
showing the world
that they
are
smart enough to rub elbows
with the rich
and the famous.

If you write
like this, it shows
the other moonbats
that you are a special and unique snowflake.

Not to
mention
incredibly ignorant
of proper sentence structure.  Besides,
it shows that

not your favorite

Poetry about an orgasm is a pretty good sign that your culture is in a self-indulgent cul-de-sac.
