Today's impeachment hearing was a disaster.
We do not have any plan to do any better.
Impeachment will only make us look weak before trump. Most likely it will embolden his base.

1. Didn't look like a disaster to me
It looked like a lot of republicans obstructing and obfuscating. It also looked like Lewdanowski in a hot seat.
Of course, ohioboy still thinks hillary won.

The Democrats are going to have come up with a tougher plan.

Lewandowski is getting nailed to the wall. He's got the look of a trapped animal on his face, the women are calling him out on his lies.

22. What real effect will today's hearing have?
Did we teach the public anything it didn’t know? That was the purpose right?
Is trump in anymore danger that he was yesterday?
Will other witnesses be called and will they cooperate based on today’s hearing?
It made the Democrat pols look like ****ing twats.

12. L. was informed at the end of the first part of the hearing that there is NO privilege available
when being questioned about illegal acts. That was established during Nixon's hearings.
That shoots down L.'s little note from Trump about what he can and cannot say.

14. :) Courage. Remember, we not only don't really understand how this game is played, we don't even know where the ball is. Or if it's a ball. Or how many whatever it is are. And we only guess and disagree about what our end goal even is, or how long the game is expected to last.
Meanwhile, the announcers, who also are largely in the dark, are lying to us because they serve their employers, not us.

1 Without saying it outright, Lewandowski told Nadler, "I cannot trust you to quote the Mueller Report honestly. Give me a copy, the page number, and location of your quote." IOW, Lewandowski wasn't going to get suckered into responding carelessly to a dishonest paraphrase. That was knowing his adversary, which Nadler clearly was.
2 The Rs prevented Nadler from skirting the rules Nadler had agreed to operate under and which they would be required to comply.
3 I hope Nadler does. Because the American people his theater is playing to will quickly recognize any bullying and show-trial tactics he attempts. Trying crap beyond what he tried today would be an own-goal.
From what I understand of Lewandowski, he's an asshole. Yesterday he showed he was a badder asshole than Nadler and his Impeachment Rangers. :rotf: And when SheLiah got so wound up in her rant that she forgot to include an actual question, :lmao: :lmao: Lewandowski's dead-pan response to Nadler's weary, "Please answer the question," was perfect :rotf: ... and Nadler didn't bother to reprove Lewandowski's true response. :rotf:
