My good friend passed a message from me to a MAGA male voter who is now on layoff.

We all worked as union drivers at a huge freight outfit that went under in 2023.
I actually left that outfit in 2018 i was done with them i saw the as they say the writing on the wall.
My message that was relayed by my friend to dumb ass.

Don’t be embarrassed it is natural for Male MAGA voters to scream harder daddy when receiving a rectal examination.
I would have called the maga dumb ass personally yet he blocked me on his phone.

He’s trying to razz on someone (who is probably made up) because they’re laid off under Trump.

Yet by his own admission he “saw the writing on the wall” in 2018 for a company that went under in 2023.

 

Sounds like Biden killed his job. I will bet money he left in 2018 because he was drunk most of the time and was fired. Then Biden killed a healthy company.

Layoffs are part of life in much of the US economy. They aren't fun, just something to live through. I've lived through 5 layoffs plus a move-or-move-on situation (the latter being move with the division to Orange County or find a new job ... I'm not in or near Orange County). All were pre-Trump:

* Some were due to poor manglement;

* Some were due to economic downturns;

* The move-or-move-on was due to NIMBYs and anti-developer Libs/Progs keeping the cost of housing in the Bay Area crazy-high, making recruitment of new college grads more or less impossible.

There will be layoffs during the next Dem MalAdministration, even if nothing stupid is done (speaking hypothetically, as an IRL Dem President will do stupid things to harm the US).

I don't discuss voting habits with people who I don't know but every person who I do know that voted for Trump is extremely pleased with the results so far.

It surprise me that these people think government workers should never suffer layoffs. What makes a government job so much different than private industry? Bloat happens and it doesn’t matter if it’s private or government. Bloat happens when times are good and the only difference between private and government jobs is profitability.

Private enterprise cuts when profit goes down. Government stagnates but they don’t cut so the bloat continues. Government doesn’t have to cut, they survive because of theft through taxation.

DOGE is a godsend the DUmmies simply can’t comprehend.

And the strange thing to me is that the only real difference between today’s Trump and the Trump from a decade (and more) ago whom they loved is the (R) behind his name. If you watch some of his interviews from back then, during the time that most of them were fawning over him, he’s saying a lot of the same things that he says now.

Plus or minus some of MasterNematode's and kt's more crazed ravings, I doubt there is a lot of original thought on DU. Not a few times, DUpipo will follow Dem Party Line in reversals such asfrom the Joe is fine narrative to admitting Joe is slipping.

I have no problem acknowledging, BTW, that much/most political stuff I post here I read elsewhere, and I often post articles, links, or name sites & names when I remember where I saw something. Sometimes, too, and idea occurs to me that I later find posted on blogsites, which I take as a sort of idea Parallel Planet Development.
