Damn, I missed a good thread while I was gone.
So, the DUmmy never actually stated what the contents of that package were? Figures.
If they knew the items weren't dangerous, they should have said so instead of making a big fuss. I used to work in my parents' UPS Store, and all employees were REQUIRED to ask what the contents were.
Had they done that in my parents' store (the big royal hissy fit that lonestar gave), my stepdad would have ordered them to leave, or he'd call the cops. The police in the small town where the store is are so quick to act
. And he actually HAS had to do that several times, unfortunately. There have been so many people who can't (or wouldn't) read the sign my parents have sitting on the front counter stating SPECIFICALLY which items could not be shipped, in BIG BOLD LETTERS.
